Welcome to Iron Legion Fitness Organization. These Terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website at ironlegionfitness.org. By accessing our website or using our facilities, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and any future modifications. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services or facilities.
2. Eligibility and Membership
Age Requirements
You must be at least 16 years old to become a member
Members under 18 years of age require parental or guardian consent
Valid government-issued identification is required for membership registration
Membership Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
You must promptly update your account information if it changes
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
3. Gym Rules and Code of Conduct
All members and guests must adhere to the following rules:
Treat all members, staff, and equipment with respect
Return all equipment to its designated place after use
Wipe down equipment after use with provided cleaning supplies
Use appropriate gym attire (closed-toe shoes required, no jeans)
No photography or video recording of other members without consent
No illegal substances or performance-enhancing drugs on premises
No aggressive, threatening, or harassing behavior
Follow all posted facility rules and staff instructions
Report any equipment damage or safety concerns immediately
4. Membership Fees and Payments
Payment Terms
Membership fees are due according to your selected payment plan
All fees must be paid in advance of the service period
We accept credit cards, debit card
A valid payment method must be kept on file for recurring memberships
Late Payments and Fees
Late payments may result in a fee of $25
Access to facilities may be suspended for accounts more than 7 days past due
Reinstatement fees may apply for reactivating suspended memberships
Refund Policy
Annual memberships: Pro-rated refund available within first 30 days
Monthly memberships: No refunds for partial months
Cancellations must be submitted in writing 7 days before next billing cycle
No refunds for suspensions due to Terms violations

5. Facility Access and Hours
Access is granted only during posted operating hours
Holiday hours may vary and will be posted in advance
We reserve the right to close facilities for maintenance or emergencies
Membership does not guarantee equipment availability
Guest privileges are subject to current guest policy and fees
6. Health and Safety
Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that use of gym facilities and equipment involves inherent risks of injury. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with your use of our facilities and equipment.
Health Conditions
Consult with a physician before beginning any exercise program
Inform staff of any medical conditions that may affect your safety
You are responsible for knowing your physical limitations
Stop exercising immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, or discomfort
Safety Requirements
Use equipment only as intended and within your capability
Use safety clips, collars, and spotters when appropriate
Do not attempt exercises beyond your skill level without supervision
Report unsafe conditions or equipment immediately
7. Personal Property
Iron Legion is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. Lockers are provided for daily use only. Items left overnight may be removed and disposed of. We recommend:
Using locks on lockers (must be removed daily)
Not bringing valuable items to the facility
Keeping personal belongings with you or secured
8. Photography and Recording
Iron Legion may photograph or record within the facility for promotional purposes
By entering our facility, you consent to being photographed or recorded
Personal photography/recording must not include other members without consent
Commercial photography requires prior written permission
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website and materials in our facility, including logos, text, images, and designs, are the property of Iron Legion or licensed to us. You may not use, copy, or distribute our intellectual property without written permission. Some images, backgrounds and textures are sourced from Unsplash.com.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IRON LEGION, ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Iron Legion, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney fees) arising from:
Your violation of these Terms
Your use or misuse of our facilities or equipment
Your violation of any rights of another person
Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
12. Termination
By Iron Legion we may terminate or suspend your membership immediately, without notice, for:
Violation of these Terms or facility rules
Conduct that endangers others or damages property
Providing false or misleading information
Non-payment of fees
Any reason at our sole discretion with pro-rated refund
By Member
You may cancel your membership according to the cancellation policy
Written notice must be provided as specified in your membership agreement
Cancellation does not relieve you of outstanding payment obligations
13. Dispute Resolution
Arbitration Agreement
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in Monmouth County, New Jersey.
Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve disputes only on an individual basis and waive any right to bring or participate in any class, collective, or representative action.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action must be brought in the courts of Monmouth County, New Jersey.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with your membership agreement and any policies posted in our facility, constitute the entire agreement between you and Iron Legion regarding our services.
17. Waiver
No waiver of any term or condition shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or any other term or condition.
18. Force Majeure
Iron Legion shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, or accidents.
19. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
